Gian Piero Gasperini’s team is coming off of a 2-1 home Serie A loss to Cagliari the last time out. Atalanta are winless in three straight games ahead of the match on Thursday.
Fiorentina sold striker Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus for over £70 million in January. The sale was not met with excitement from fan. Despite bringing in two strikers to replace Vlahovic, Fiorentina failed to win six of their last seven matches in all competitions.
La Viola are coming off of a 3-0 home loss to Lazio at the weekend in Serie A. Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano will be confident that the team can claim a win in Bergamo.

Italiano has no fresh injury issues. The Fiorentina coach will have a full squad to select from. Fiorentina reached the quarterfinals with an extra-time 5-2 win over Napoli. Atalanta, on the other hand, won 2-0 against Venezia.
