Juventus will take a 2-0 lead into the Coppa Italia semifinal second leg on Tuesday night against rival Lazio.

After a scoreless first half in Turin, Juventus turned up the pressure in the second half versus Lazio, scoring twice in the span of 14 minutes to win 2-0. Goals from Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic in the 50th and 64th minutes respectively gave Juve the victory.
Lazio actually out shot Juventus on the night, 11-9, but they failed to register any of those shots on target. The Biancocelesti also had 60% of the possession, yet couldn’t turn it into goals.
Can Lazio turn the semifinal around? Playing at home should help the Rome-based club but head coach Igor Tudor’s team has to find a way to play better football.

Sitting third in Serie A, Juventus can only realistically win the cup competition. Vlahovic is Juventus’s only 10-plus goal scorer this term.
Ciro Immobile is once again Lazio’s leading goal scorer. However, now 34-years old, Immobile’s goal scoring impact is diminishing. He has only 10 goals this season in all competitions.
