The Coppa Italia semi-finals get underway this week, with four teams bidding to book their place in May’s showpiece at the Stadio Olimpico.

On Tuesday evening, Lazio will be looking to maintain their impressive recent record against Juventus when the two sides clash at the Allianz Stadium.

If you’re looking for stats, trends and analysis, you’ve certainly come to the right place. Read on to find out what Forebet’s predictive analytics model forecasts.

Funnily enough, Juventus and Lazio faced each other in Serie A on Saturday, with the Eagles claiming a 1-0 victory over the Old Lady in the capital.

It’s fair to say that Lazio deserved to claim all three points last time out, as they racked up 65% possession and 16 shots while limiting Juve to three attempts on target.

Juventus have now managed to win just one of their previous nine matches, recording four draws and four losses to drop out of the Serie A title race.

Still, Max Allegri’s men have enjoyed plenty of Coppa Italia success this season, thrashing Salernitana 6-1 and Frosinone 4-0 to reach the semi-finals.

Thanks to Saturday’s triumph, Lazio head into the semi-finals on the back of successive wins, with a 3-2 victory over Frosinone preceding the weekend’s success.

It is worth noting, however, that Lazio have lost four of their last six matches across all competitions, with six defeats coming in their previous 11 outings.

On a brighter note, the Eagles have yet to concede a goal in the Coppa Italia this season, booking their place in the semi-finals with 1-0 victories over Genoa and Roma.

Although Lazio have claimed three Coppa Italia titles since 2009, they lost the 2015 and 2017 finals to Juventus, with the Old Lady also triumphing in 2021.

Head-to-head: Thanks to Saturday’s 2-1 victory on home soil, Lazio have won two of their last three meetings with Juventus.

When you look at the bigger picture, however, Lazio have managed to win just two of their previous 10 matches against the Old Lady across all competitions.

Team news: Juventus’ injury list contains Carlos Alcaraz, Alex Sandro, Filip Kostic and Arkadiusz Milik, while Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli are banned.

On the other hand, Lazio are currently without midfielder Manuel Lazzari, goalkeeper Ivan Provedel and midfielder Nicolo Rovella due to injury.

Despite Juventus’ iffy recent form, their impressive record in the Coppa Italia should give them the edge over inconsistent Lazio.

Forebet’s AI algorithm predicts that Juventus will score over 1.5 goals and keep a clean sheet on their way to winning the first leg.
