We have reached the second leg of the second qualifying round for the Europa Conference League.
This is a new competition organised by UEFA with the hope it will give some of the smaller clubs around Europe an opportunity to progress in a European competition. On Thursday the 29th of July we have a meeting between Bodø/Glimt and Valur Reykjavík at the Aspmyra Stadion in Norway.
Bodø/Glimt come into the match having recorded a good 3-0 victory in the first leg in Iceland. The Norwegians opened the scoring with only 5 minutes remaining of the first half and quickly added two additional goals at the beginning of the second half, taking the game away from their opponents in a 15 minute spell.

Valur Reykjavík will be extremely disappointed to be coming into this match having lost the home leg 3-0. It appeared as though they were well in the game going into half time but having conceded a goal in the 40th minute things quickly got away from Valur Reykjavík at the beginning of the second half. It proved a costly 10 minutes and Valur Reykjavík conceded two goals which have taken the tie away from them ahead of this game.
Like their opponents, Valur Reykjavík returned to domestic action on the weekend and they recorded a good 3-0 win at HK. It took until the 44th minute for Valur Reykjavík to get the first goal of the game and they added a second just after half time before sealing the points in the 66th minute.

Considering the score in the first leg of this tie, Bodø/Glimt must come into this match as the overwhelming favourites to win the game.
