Club Brugge Looking to Further Establish Themselves as the Favourites by Beating PAOK Again
2502

The Europa Conference League second leg ties are upon us this Thursday, and Forebet is back to group together the latest data, analysis, mathematics and the probability of a win for either side in Greece this time around.

Ahead of the battle down in Thessaloniki, it is the Belgian side who have the narrow advantage after Hugo Vetlesen scored in the first half of the game to net the only goal of the match.

It was - other than that finish - a rather dull game. Brugge had only four shots on target in the match from 12 efforts, and with PAOK hitting just one shot on target from six efforts, it was a 90 minutes that had very little to speak about.

Brugge are looking to keep up their run in the Europa Conference League, however, as they are trailing Anderlecht in the Championship Round of the Belgian Pro League by five points after 33 games.

Brugge did finish fourth in the regular season and adrift of Union Saint-Gilloise by 19 points in the end.

Last time out, the club met with Antwerp at home and eased to a 3-0 win thanks to a goal each from Michal Skoras, Philip Zinckernagel and Raphael Onyedika.

It was the third win in a row for Brugge, as they have already defeated PAOK and edged out a 3-1 win over Anderlecht too - Brandon Mechele scored that day alongside a brace for Onyedika.

Brugge have lost in the Europa Conference League already, however, as they lost 2-1 in the away leg of the round of 16 to Molde before a 3-0 win over them back at home.

On the other hand, Brugge have managed to smash Besiktas 5-0 in Turkey in a stunning win, and also defeat Bodo/Glimt twice, Lugano twice and draw the other game with Besiktas in the group stages.

As for PAOK, they are sitting third in the Championship Round of the Super League Greece and behind AEK Athens by two points.

They actually drew 2-2 with Athens in the last outing in the league and as they didn't play over the weekend, PAOK have had a whole week off.

They too have an excellent record in the Europa Conference League, beating Dinamo Zagreb 5-1 in the round of 16 after losing the first leg 2-0.

Forebet predicts a win here for Brugge and for the same to see over 2.5 goals.
