Chelsea will be confident of extending their winning run under Thomas Tuchel when struggling Sheffield United visit Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.

The two sides are currently separated by a whopping 37 points in the Premier League table, with fourth-place Chelsea on 51 points and last-place Sheff Utd on 14 points.

The Blues booked their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals in midweek, seeing off Atletico Madrid 2-0 (3-0 on aggregate).

Remarkably, Chelsea are yet to taste defeat under Tuchel, picking up nine wins and four draws in 13 games in all competitions.

Better still, the Blues have kept 11 clean sheets along the way, conceding in just two of Tuchel’s 13 matches in charge.

Chelsea have enjoyed a relatively straightforward run to the FA Cup quarter-finals, with wins over Morecambe, Luton Town and Barnsley coming this season.

It is worth noting that Tuchel’s side have only lost one of their last eight FA Cup games, scoring over 1.5 goals in each of their last home matches in the competition.

On the flip side, things just keep on going from bad to worse for Sheffield United, who currently sit 14 points from safety in the Premier League.

The Blades have only managed to win four of their 29 league outings this term, recording two draws and 23 defeats in the process.

On top of that, Sheff Utd are the lowest scorers in the Premier League, having netting just 16 goals this season.

Sheff Utd have beaten Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle and Bristol City to make it into the last eight of the FA Cup.

However, following Chris Wilder’s departure from the club last week, the Blades suffered a 5-0 loss at the hands of Leicester in their previous game.

Head-to-head: Chelsea have already beaten Sheff Utd twice this term, winning 4-1 at home and 2-1 away in the Premier League.

In fact, the Blues have only lost one of their last six meetings with the Blades, scoring over 1.5 goals in all but one of their previous six games against Sheffield United.

Team news: Thiago Silva, Tammy Abraham and Andreas Christensen are all injury doubts for Chelsea at the moment.

As for Sheff Utd, they will be without John Egan, Sander Berge, Jack Robinson, Jack O'Connell, Jack Rodwell and David McGoldrick this weekend.

Let’s face it – anything other than a comfortable victory for Chelsea would be a huge shock when Sheff Utd come to town.

Forebet predicts that Chelsea will maintain their unbeaten start under Tuchel, scoring over 2.5 goals while keeping a clean sheet against the Blades.
