Leicester City and Manchester United will wrap up this weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final ties at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

Second-place Man Utd sit just one point ahead of third-place Leicester in the Premier League table, so this is destined to be a tight battle.

The Foxes have come through some tricky tests to reach the quarter-finals, with wins over Stoke City and Brentford in the early stages.

In the previous round, Leicester needed a 94th-minute winner from Kelechi Iheanacho in order to edge past Brighton & Hove Albion.

When it comes to the Premier League, Brendan Rodger’s side have only lost two of their previous 16 games.

Better still, Leicester City have won five of their last eight league games, beating Fulham, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Brighton and Sheffield United in that time.

The Foxes may be miles behind Manchester City, but with fifth-place West Ham eight points behind, Champions League football is looking likely for next season.

In actual fact, the same can be said for Man Utd. With a nine-point gap between them and West Ham, the Red Devils are starting to prepare for life in the UCL next term.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have only lost one of their last 23 league matches, with no defeats in the previous nine.

After getting the better of Man City in the Manchester Derby, United beat West Ham 1-0 last weekend to keep the pressure on the frontrunners.

Manchester United qualified for the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday, beating AC Milan 1-0 at the San Siro.

The first leg was drawn 1-1, but a second-half goal from substitute Paul Pogba eventually handed the Red Devils their route into the last eight.

Head-to-head: Leicester and Man Utd played out a thrilling 2-2 draw earlier in the campaign, with Alex Tuanzebe scoring an own goal on 85 minutes.

Remarkably, Man Utd are unbeaten in their last 13 meetings with Leicester, picking up nine wins and four draws along the way.

Team news: James Maddison, James Justin, Cengiz Under and Harvey Barnes will not be fit enough to feature for Leicester this weekend.

On the other hand, Man Utd will be without Juan Mata and Phil Jones, while Edinson Cavani, Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek are all doubts.

As we already know, there really is very little separating these two sides at the moment, so this is likely to be a closely-fought encounter.

Forebet predicts that Leicester and Man Utd will play out a goalless draw after 90 minutes, with extra-time and possibly penalties needed to decide the tie.
