Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur have already qualified for the Carabao Cup Final against Manchester City. Now, Mourinho’s charges will aim to win on Monday night in the FA Cup fifth round to move closer to another cup final match.

Standing in Spurs’ way of a win is Championship team Wycombe Wanderers. Gareth Ainsworth’s team are bottom of the table in the Championship and starring a return to League One in the face.

Wycombe Wanderers came through the third round of the FA Cup with a 4-1 win over Championship team Preston North End. Despite the sizeable win, this isn’t a high scoring Wycombe team.

They have scored 21 goals in 25 matches in all competitions for an average of 0.84 per game.

Tottenham Hotspur have already played 32 times in all competitions this season. Mourinho will fancy his team’s chances in the FA Cup as the club are still in line to win four trophies this term.

Spurs eliminated non-league Marine AFC in the third round of the FA Cup, 5-0. Truth be told, Tottenham Hotspur could have scored far more against the part-timers.

Mourinho’s powerful attack has scored 71 goals in 32 matches in all competitions. They average 2.22 goals per match while conceding a mere 0.88 goals per game.

The manager has the luxury of rotating his team this weekend for the FA Cup with big matches against Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City in the league on the horizon. Dele Alli, Gareth Bale, and Vinicius could all get a start.

Vinicius has found playing time in the Premier League hard to come by. However, he has scored six goals in cup competitions. Mourinho will play a strong team but could leave out either Harry Kane or Son Heung-min. The duo has accounted for 35 of Spurs’ 71 goals in all competitions.

The FA Cup fifth round will be a case of the haves and have nots. Wycombe do not score many goals and their 4-1 win against Preston North End in the previous round was an anomaly. Scott Kashket leads the team in goals with four in all competitions.

Tottenham Hotspur should win on Monday night and progress to the FA Cup fifth round. Spurs have far too much firepower. They should get goals while keeping Wycombe Wanderers from scoring at the other end.

Spurs should win to nil while scoring over 2.5 goals, just as they did against Marine AFC in the previous round of the FA Cup.
