Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig to end all square

On Saturday afternoon, Hoffenheim host RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, as both teams look to push into the Champions League spots.

After finishing as Bundesliga runners-up last season, Hoffenheim have made an inconsistent start to their campaign in German top-flight. The home side has won two, lost two and drawn one of their first five league outings this season. However, they have lost just three of their last 22 games in all competitions.

Last time out, Julian Nagelsmann’s team recorded a 3-1 win at Hannover. For Hoffenheim, it was the sixth game in a row in the Bundesliga that saw both sides score.

Nagelsmann’s team have a good recent home record, as they are unbeaten in nine outings, having recorded seven wins in the process. Hoffenheim have also been prolific of late on home soil in the German top-flight, scoring at least two goals in six of their last seven matches on home soil in the Bundesliga.

RB Leipzig kicked off their Bundesliga campaign with a defeat against Dortmund. However, since that opening weekend defeat, the visitors are unbeaten in four league games having recorded two wins and two draws. Last time out, Leipzig recorded a 2-0 win over Stuttgart.

It is interesting to note that both teams have scored in six of their last seven Bundesliga outings. With Hoffenheim’s recent record that could be extended in this clash.

Leipzig have struggled for wins on their travels of late, winning just one of their last five outings on the road. Both teams have scored in five of the visitors last six away games in the league.

There have also been over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last six away games in the German top-flight.

Forebet predicts that these two teams will cancel each other out and this clash will end in a high scoring draw.
