As we enter the international break, we still have some club football to enjoy in the English Football League. On the 10th of October we have a meeting between Stevenage and Wycombe in the EFL Trophy and the game will take place at the Lamex Stadium.

The hosts are in 3rd place in the group on 1 point while the visitors are top of the group on 3 points.

Stevenage come into the match on the back of a 1-0 home win over Wigan Athletic in League One on the weekend.

The only goal of the game was scored from the penalty spot in the 9th minute and both teams had a player sent off in the second half.

The win over Wigan was the first victory in 3 matches for Stevenage having lost their previous 2 fixtures, both of which were in League One. There was a 3-1 home loss at the hands of Oxford United and a 3-2 away defeat to Bolton Wanderers.

Team news and Stevenage could make some changes to their team from the weekend. Nicholas Freeman, Kane Hemmings, Nathan Thompson, and Ben Thompson could all start.

We expect to see both teams find the back of the net and for the match to end level, with 1-1 as a predicted score. That would be a good result for Wycombe, but Stevenage really need to win.
