The Dons currently sit in sixth place of the League Two table after a solid start to the new league campaign.
However, they head into this clash on the back of a three-game winless run in all competitions after a 2-2 draw with Newport County last time out.
On the flip side, AFC Wimbledon have lost just once in their eight games in all competitions this season, which was against Premier League Chelsea.

The visitors have made a promising start to their League One campaign, as they currently sit in third place.
However, a 3-0 win at Leyton Orient ended a three-game winless run in all competitions for the visitors.
The game against Orient was a relatively rare high-scoring game for the visitors, as six of their last eight matches have produced under 2.5 goals.
Like their hosts, Stevenage have been difficult to beat in the EFL Trophy of late, as they have lost just two of their previous eight games over 90 minutes.
A 3-0 defeat at Portsmouth last time out in the competition ended a four-game winning run in the EFL Trophy.
Stevenage have not found away victories easy to come by of late in the EFL Trophy, as they have won just two of their previous six games on their travels in the competition.
