Borussia Dortmund are looking to stamp their marker down on top spot in the Bundesliga when they head to the Vonovia Ruhrstadion where VfL Bochum are aiming to get further away from the relegation zone on Friday night.
Despite a 5-1 hammering from Wolfsburg on home soil last weekend, Bochum are still sitting outside of the drop zone by two points and will be confident in finishing ahead of Stuttgart, Schalke and Hertha Berlin with them winning eight games so far this season.
Moritz Broschinski scored for Bochum in the 5-1 home defeat, but the club still managed to have 24 shots that day. This also now means four games without a win for the club, as they drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt, lost 3-2 to Stuttgart, and drew 1-1 with Union Berlin before the recent loss.
Bochum's last win came in a narrow 1-0 victory at home to RB Leipzig where Erhan Masovic scored in the second half of the game largely dominated by Leipzig.
Despite winning more games than every side in the relegation zone, Bochum have still managed to lose the most games in the league this season with 18 from 29 games meaning they have also conceded 66 goals in the league - no side has let in more.
As for Dortmund, they have moved to the top of the Bundesliga once more after Bayern Munich lost 3-1 to Mainz. Bayern are expected to beat Hertha Berlin in their game, and it now means Dortmund cannot afford to drop points in this game.
The Black and Yellow moved to the top of the table after a 4-0 hammering at home over Eintracht Frankfurt that saw Jude Bellingham score before a brace from Donyell Malen and a finish from Mats Hummels.
Dortmund have also drawn 3-3 with Stuttgart and beaten Union Berlin in April, alongside a 2-0 loss to RB Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal quarter-finals and a 4-2 beating from Bayern. Nevertheless, the title remains in their hands for the first time in many weeks.
These two met back in the round of 16 of the DFB-Pokal in February, as Emre Can and Marco Reus guided BVB to a 2-1 win after Kevin Stoger netted a penalty.
Dortmund also had eight shots on target that day. The reverse fixture of their league encounter back in November saw Youssoufa Moukoko score twice in the first half alongside a penalty from Gio Reyna.
Forebet predicts a win for Dortmund and over 2.5 goals.
