With a transfer ban looming over the club, Frank Lampard was somewhat forced into giving Chelsea’s homegrown youngsters plenty of first-team action last season.
The summer 2020 transfer window is in full swing. Due to the pandemic, the window opened on July 27 and will close on October 5. There are still a few weeks to go, but there have already been a number of high-profile transfers across Europe.
On Wednesday night, Bayern Munich recorded a 3-0 win over French side Lyon to book their place in Sunday’s Champions League final. Bayern will now face a final against PSG in Lisbon, which has the hallmarks of an absolute classic.
In all the excitement and hoopla of Manchester United’s second half of the season, there was one important element that the club were missing: A ruthless striker.
