Brazil will be looking to maintain their 100% record in the South American draw of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers when Ecuador visit on Saturday.

However, it is important to remember that third-place Ecuador have won three of their four qualifiers so far.

Brazil are sitting pretty at the top of the ten-nation group, having won each of their four qualifying matches.

Not only have Tite’s side scored 12 goals along the way (averaging three goals per game), but they have also conceded just two goals in the process.

Having netted 13 goals across their opening four qualifiers, Ecuador are the highest scorers in the group.

However, let’s not forget that Ecuador have only managed to win one of their previous 12 away games in all competitions.

Head-to-head: Brazil did the double over Ecuador in the previous World Cup qualifying campaign, claiming a 3-0 away win before securing a 2-0 home victory.

Ecuador have failed to win any of their last three games against Brazil, registering one draw and two defeats in that time.

Team news: Alisson is expected to start ahead of Ederson and Weverton between the sticks for Brazil. At the other end of the pitch, Neymar looks set to earns his 104th international cap.

Meanwhile, Ecuador will be without Plata on Saturday, as he serves a one-match ban following his red card against Colombia last time out.

Ecuador have given a good account of themselves so far, but Brazil’s quality is likely to shine through on Saturday.

Having kept a clean sheet in each of their last two matches, Forebet predicts that Brazil will record a shutout victory over Ecuador.
