Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from their midweek Champions League exit when they face Leeds United at Elland Road on Monday night.

Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sit sixth in the Premier League table – just seven points ahead of tenth-place Leeds United.

Leeds United head into Monday’s clash having won each of their previous three Premier League matches.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have seen off Fulham, Sheffield United and Manchester City in recent weeks, winning 2-1 on every occasion.

Despite playing the entire second half with ten men, Leeds managed to get the better of Man City last weekend.

Leeds saw just 28% possession at the Etihad Stadium, with Stuart Dallas scoring both goals with his team’s only two shots on target.

Having scored 49 goals and conceded 49 goals, Bielsa’s side are the only team in the Premier League with a goal difference of 0.

On the flip side, Liverpool gave a good account of themselves and caused Real Madrid plenty of problems on Wednesday.

However, despite seeing 57% possession and recording 14 shots, the Reds were unable to prevent a goalless draw – knocking them out of the Champions League.

Like Leeds, Liverpool also head into Monday’s game on a three-match winning streak in the Premier League.

The Reds may have lost eight of their last 15 league games, but it is worth noting that they have only lost two of their previous 13 away games in England’s top-flight.

Let's not forget that Liverpool have also kept a clean sheet in each of their last three matches in the Premier League.

Head-to-head: Remarkably, Liverpool are unbeaten in their previous nine meetings with Leeds in all competitions.

The Reds beat Leeds 4-3 on the opening weekend of the season, with Mohamed Salah bagging a hat-trick.

Team news: Liam Cooper is unavailable for Leeds at the moment, while Rodrigo, Raphina and Adam Forshaw are also doubts.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are still without Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Jordan Henderson and Divock Origi.

Following a high-scoring victory for Liverpool last time around, a similar scoreline is expected on Monday.

Forebet predicts that Liverpool will score over 2.5 goals on their way to beating Leeds, although Leeds are also expected to get on the scoresheet.
