Belgium will be looking to bounce back from a shock draw to the Czech Republic when Belarus visit Den Dreef on Tuesday.

Belgium currently find themselves second in World Cup qualifying Group E – level on four points with the first-place Czechs.

Meanwhile, Belarus sit third – one point behind Belgium – having won their opening game of the campaign against Estonia on Saturday.

Belgium kicked off their qualifying campaign with a 3-1 victory over Wales, thanks to goal from Kevin De Bruyne, Thorgan Hazard and Belgium.

However, despite enjoying 63% possession against the Czech Republic on Saturday, Robert Martinez’s men were held to a 1-1 draw.

Lukaku got on the scoresheet again, but the Red Devils were forced to come from behind to rescue a point in Prague.

Still, Belgium have only lost one of their previous 20 matches in all competitions – picking up 17 wins during that period.

On the other hand, Belarus have only played one game in Group E, although they began with a strong 4-2 victory over Estonia.

Belarus went behind on two occasions on Saturday, yet a brace from Vitaly Lisakovich inspired the turnaround.

There were also goals for Yury Kendysh and Pavel Savitski as Belarus enjoyed 64% possession on home soil.

Looking at the bigger picture, Belarus have only managed to win two of their last five games in all competitions.

With high-scoring losses to Romania (5-3) and Albania (3-2) in recent months, it is clear that Belarus’ leaky backline is easy to exploit.

Head-to-head: This will be the first meeting between Belgium and Belarus in any competition, meaning there or no previous results to assess for this fixture.

Team news: Martinez could look to shake up his starting XI following a tepid draw against the Czech Republic last time out.

However, Romelu Lukaku will undoubtedly lead the line again, having netted his 59th goal in 91 international appearances last time out.

Once again, Belarus will be looking to Vitaly Lisakovich for goals on Tuesday. The Lokomotiv Moscow forward has four goals in 13 appearances for his country.

Belgium were held to a surprise draw last time out, but the world’s number-on ranked nation should bounce back with an easily win over the Group E underdogs.

Forebet predicts that Belgium will score over 3.5 goals and keep a clean sheet en route to thrashing Belarus on Tuesday.
