Granada and Real Sociedad to both score in Sunday clash
Granada CF vs Real Sociedad - 14/03/2021

Granada will head into this Sunday’s clash against Real Sociedad in confident mood as the hosts registered an important 2-0 win over Norwegian outfit, Molde, in their 1st leg Europa league tie in midweek at their Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes, and they hold home advantage again in this forthcoming La Liga fixture.
Recent results overall though have seen mixed returns for Granada as they’ve managed to pick up just three wins out of their last 10 matches in all competitions which also include a 2-0 home win over Napoli and a 2-1 home win against Elche in the Spanish top flight.
However, whilst Granada have performed well on the European stage so far this season, the hosts have struggled in the domestic top flight, winning just one of their last eight matches, so a straight home win here would seem unlikely.
Goals could feature though as seven of these last eight matches have resulted in both teams scoring while three of the last four meetings against Real Sociedad have also seen both teams hit the back of the net.
Real Sociedad have dusted themselves off after their exit from the Europa League to Premier League club, Manchester United, as the visitors have subsequently picked up four points from their last two matches in La Liga, drawing 1-1 away at Real Madrid and securing a valuable 1-0 home win against Levante.
Real Sociedad are unbeaten in their last seven matches overall in the Spanish top flight which includes four wins with victories gained over Cadiz, Getafe, Deportivo Alaves and Levante which have helped the visitors up into 5th place and just three points adrift of the top four in La Liga.
Overall, it’s been a consistent campaign for Real Sociedad who will be aiming to add to their points tally here in order to maintain their push for European football of some sort next season, while results away from home have also been encouraging.
6 wins, 4 draws and just 3 defeats have seen Real Sociedad perform well on the road as well this term which has been helped by the fact that the visitors have scored in 12 of their 13 away matches to date this season.
These two teams have both scored in previous recent exchanges and this trend could well continue on Sunday.
