Burnley and Arsenal will get Matchday 27 of the 2020/21 Premier League season underway when they clash at Turf Moor in the early kick-off on Saturday.

A four-game winless run means that Burnley currently sit fifteenth in the table – eight points behind tenth-place Arsenal.

Things appeared to be looking up for Sean Dyche’s side when they secure back-to-back victories over Liverpool and Aston Villa at the end of January.

However, since then, Burnley have only managed to win one of their eight Premier League outings, recording four draws and three losses along the way.

The Clarets were thrashed 4-0 by Tottenham last week, but they managed to bounce back with a positive 1-1 draw against Leicester in midweek.

Matej Vydra have Burnley the lead after just four minutes on Wednesday, but the Foxes equalised late in the first half and went on to dominate the game.

Only last-place Sheffield United have scored fewer Premier League goals than Burnley this season, with Dyche’s men netting just once in their last three matches.

It felt as though Arsenal also turned a corner following a dismal start to the season when they enjoyed a seven-game unbeaten streak not so long ago.

But following recent losses to Wolves, Aston Villa and Manchester City, the Gunner have only won two of their previous six league outings.

Mikel Arteta’s men booked their spot in the Europa League Round of 16 with a 4-3 aggregate win over Portuguese side Benfica last week.

Still, Arsenal find themselves eight points outside the top four in the Premier League, having spent much of the campaign in the bottom half of the table.

On a brighter note, the Gunners do boast the joint-third-best defensive record in the division, behind Man City and Chelsea.

Head-to-head: Let’s not forget that Burnley claimed a 1-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates in the reverse fixture back in December.

However, that was Burnley’s first win over the Gunners in 15 attempts, having suffered 12 defeats in 14 games before that, as well as two draws.

Team news: Burnley will be without the injured Ashley Barnes this weekend, although Jack Cork, Robbie Brady and Johann Berg Gudmundsson could return to the team following spells on the sidelines.

Arsenal only have one injury concern ahead of Saturday’s game, with Emile Smith Rowe a doubt for the trip to Turf Moor.

Arsenal have been wildly unpredictable this season, yet Burnley’s lack of goalscoring firepower will make it difficult for the home side to get anything from this match.

Forebet predicts that Arsenal will score over 1.5 goals and keep a clean sheet on their way to victory at Turf Moor.
