Athletic Club and Valencia are two clubs steeped in the tradition of Spanish football. The pair meet on Sunday afternoon at San Mames, with both teams in the bottom half of La Liga.

Los Che have had trouble winning games away from home since last season, recording just two wins on their travels in 21 outings in the Spanish top-flight. Recently the visitors have been leaky in defence away from home, concerning at least two goals in six of their previous eight outings.
