Atalanta were held to a draw at the weekend against Spezia and occupy 7th position in the Serie A table heading into Saturday’s game against Verona.
The hosts have now drawn three of their last six matches in all competitions, including their last two league games. However, Atalanta still sit above Verona by 2pts and two places ahead of their latest encounter.

Verona are without a win in their last two matches after following up their impressive 2-2 draw at AC Milan with a 2-0 defeat at home to high-flying Sassuolo. Like Atalanta, Verona have only managed to win one of their last six matches in all competitions but have only lost once during that period.
The visitors have drawn four of their last six matches, three of which have seen both teams score. Over 2.5 goals have been produced in three of Verona’s last four outings and the visitors have only managed to keep one clean sheet in their last six attempts.
Pasalic, Depaoli and Caldara are all expected to miss out for the hosts this weekend due to injury, while Verona could be without the services of Kalinic, Lazovic, Gunter and Vieira.
