Manchester United will be aiming to make it three wins from three Champions League games when they visit Turkey to face Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are top of Group H – three points clear of PSG and RB Leipzig and six points ahead of Istanbul Basaksehir.
The Turkish side lost their opening two Champions League games 2-0, firstly away to Leipzig and then home to PSG.
However, Basaksehir are enjoying a four-game unbeaten streak back home and have won each of their previous three Super Lig games.
After drawing with Goztepe, Basaksehir beat Trabzonspor, Antalyaspor and Konyaspor to move up to seventh in the Turkish top flight.
Manager Okan Buruk will be hoping that his team can carry their domestic form onto the European stage.
By contrast, Manchester United have enjoyed playing in the Champions League this season, but their domestic form has been poor.
The Red Devils beat PSG 2-1 on Matchday 1 before crushing Leipzig 5-0 last week, although they have only managed to win two of their six league games this season.
Following a goalless draw with Chelsea two weekends ago, Man Utd were beaten 1-0 by Arsenal on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford was the hero last week, with the substitute netting a second-half hat-trick to cap off a fine win over Leipzig.
But the forward was unable to prevent his side from losing to the Gunners at the weekend, as Man Utd only registered two shots on target at Old Trafford.
Head-to-head: This will be the first meeting between Istanbul Basaksehir and Manchester United, so there are no previous results to consider for this matchup.
Team news: Basaksehir will be without the injured Junior Caicara, Muhammed Sengezer, Nacer Chadli, Mahmut Tekdemir and Enzo Crivelli on Wednesday.
Top scorer Edin Visca has notched up three goals and one assist this term, so United will be need to keep him quiet.
Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Jesse Lingard are injured for the Red Devils, while new signing Alex Telles has tested positive for coronavirus.
Basaksehir have made a poor start to their Champions League campaign, while Man Utd could hardly have wished for a better beginning.
Solskjaer’s men are expected to leave their domestic woes behind and maintain their 100% record in the Europe this term.
Forebet predicts that Manchester United will score over 1.5 goals and keep a clean sheet on their way to victory over Basaksehir on Wednesday.
