On Friday night, Bordeaux host Lyon in Ligue One, as both teams look to continue their positive starts to the French top-flight campaign.
Bordeaux have kicked off the new Ligue One season by picking up four points from a possible six so far in season 2020/21. The home side kicked-off their campaign with a goalless draw against Nantes before a 2-0 away win at Angers last time out.
The victory last time out ended a run of five league games without a league victory in Ligue One. However, the home team are unbeaten in four league games in the French top-flight, as they drew their previous three league games before the victory over Angers.
Bordeaux have incredibly failed to win a home game in Ligue One since December 2019 (six games), which was highly affected by the big break due to the global pandemic.

Lyon recorded a 4-1 home win over Dijon in gameweek one, which was a good start to their Ligue One campaign. The hero of the win was Dutch forward Memphis Depay, who scored a hat-trick. The former Manchester United star is reportedly a transfer target of Catalan giants Barcelona.
OL will be disappointed to have finished last season in seventh place, although the visitors will claim that they would have finished higher in the table if the league campaign had not been curtailed.
Lyon were highly inconsistent on their travels in Ligue One last season, as they have won just two of their previous six away games in the top-flight. The fact that OL suffered three defeats in their last four league matches on the road.
