The Netherlands and Poland will open their 2020/21 UEFA Nations League accounts on Friday when the two sides clash at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
The two countries find themselves alongside Italy and Bosnia & Herzegovina in Group A1, so they are by no means guaranteed a top-two spot.
The Netherlands made it all the way to the final of the 2019 Nations League but eventually lost out to Portugal.
The men in orange finished above France and Germany in their group, picking up two wins, one draw and just one defeat along the way.
But despite beating England 3-1 in the semi-finals, the Netherlands were ultimately unable to get their hands on the trophy.

Still, following their impressive European Championship qualifying campaign, Poland will be confident of causing an upset this year.

In fact, the Netherlands have beaten Poland in each of their previous three meetings and are unbeaten in this fixture in their last eight attempts.
Overall, the two sides have met 15 time over the years, although Poland have only managed to claim three victories.
Team news: AZ Alkmaar captain Teun Koopmeiners was included in the Netherlands’ provisional squad, but he has now dropped down to join the U21s.
Premier League stars Jan Bednarek (Southampton) and Mateusz Klich (Leeds) are both in the visitors’ squad, but there is no denying that Robert Lewandowski is Poland’s main man.
It is no secret that the Netherlands boast the stronger of the two squads, but Poland are likely to put up a decent fight on Friday.
