Lazio head into the final day of the Serie A season on 78 points and in fourth place. Simone Inzaghi’s team could finish as high as second but need a win and Inter Milan to draw away at Atalanta on Saturday to accomplish the feat.
Napoli are seventh in Serie A and cannot finish the season any higher or lower. The Partenopei are preparing for their Champions League last 16 second leg match versus Barcelona and will use Saturday’s game as a warm up.

Lazio claimed a 1-0 victory against Napoli in the reverse fixture this season thanks to a Ciro Immobile second half goal. The Partenopei got revenge on Lazio in the Coppa Italia with a second minute goal from Lorenzo Insigne and held on from there.
The cup game saw two red cards as Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj was sent off in the 19th minute. Lazio’s Lucas Leiva was given his marching orders six minutes later.
Lazio have the joint third best away points total in the league. They have recorded 33 points from 54 possible and won in their last away game at Hellas Verona 5-1.
The Biancocelesti have Serie A’s top scorer in Ciro Immobile. The Italian international has scored 35 times registering 45% of Lazio’s goals. Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo goes into the weekend trying to catch Immobile. Ronaldo has 31 goals in Serie A.
Napoli are unbeaten in their last six home matches with five of those games ending in wins. They are +5 in goal difference with 28 goals scored and 23 allowed.
Lazio’s record against Napoli isn’t great but they did claim a 1-0 win earlier this season in Serie A. Lazio are playing great football and have every chance to move up to second or third in Serie A’s final standings.
The Biancocelesti should pick up a win against Napoli and potentially finish the campaign in second place. Immobile could bag another goal and seal the Golden Boot Award. The teams should combine for over 2.5 goals as they both find the back of the net.
