Wolverhampton Wanderers’ hopes of qualifying for the Champions League ended in midweek thanks to a controversial penalty that allowed Burnley to snatch a 1-1 draw.
With both Leicester City and Manchester United stretching their leads to six points, Wolves will focus on solidifying their sixth-place position and qualifying for the Europa League next term.
Crystal Palace are also coming off of a disappointing midweek game. The Eagles were left fuming after VAR didn’t review or reverse an on-field decision that should have resulted in a penalty. Manchester United scored immediately after the non-call.

In contrast, Crystal Palace are in freefall and haven’t won a game since the Premier League’s restart. The Eagles have lost six straight games with five of those matches ending in losses to nil.
Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio has claimed 12 clean sheets this season. He is tied for the fourth most clean sheets in the division and with Crystal Palace struggling to score goals, could get another win to nil at the weekend.
The Old Gold’s defence concede an average of 1.05 goals per game at Molineux. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace average just 1.1 goals per game on the road. On paper, it is likely to be another barren performance from the Eagles.
Santo does not have any injuries reported. The manager continues to have tremendous luck with injuries as no players are set to miss the game. Wolverhampton Wanderers will restart their Europa League campaign next month.
The club will play their second leg match against Olympiacos at Molineux with the hope of winning the tie and moving on to the quarterfinals against either Sevilla or Roma. Wolves are level with Olympiacos at 1-1.
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson got Jeffrey Schlupp back from injury in midweek. Full-back Patrick van Aanholt separated his shoulder against Manchester United and will miss the fixture. James Tomkins and Gary Cahill are also set to mis the fixture through injuries.
The away team has claimed a result in each of the last three league meetings between the teams. Last season at Molineux, Crystal Palace gained a 2-0 victory. Their game earlier this campaign finished 1-1 at Selhurst Park with two second half goals.
