Dinamo Brest were handed a surprise and disappointing 2-1 defeat at home in last weekend’s edition of the Belarus Vysshaya Liga by visitors, Slavia Mozyr, which put a stop to Dinamo Brest’s unbeaten start to this new campaign.

Sunday’s hosts had made a solid start to the new domestic top flight season after they picked up 4 points from their opening two matches of the new term thanks to a 1-1 draw at home with newcomers, Smolevichi, which was then followed by a 1-0 win on the road at Slutsk.

Despite their recent setback to Slavia, Dinamo Brest will still feel confident that they can return to winning ways here, especially as last season’s Vysshaya Liga title winners have suffered just 1 defeat out of their last 18 matches overall.
