Eibar to move closer to La Liga safety

On Saturday lunchtime, Eibar host Levante at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurua, as the home side look to move further clear of La Liga’s relegation zone.

Levante are 10th place in La Liga, eight points outside the European spots and ten points clear of the relegation zone. A run of five defeats in their last seven La Liga games has scuppered their chances of landing a European spot for next season.
Paco Lopez’s team have shown signs of improvement in recent games of late, winning two of their last three matches in the Spanish top-flight.
Levante’s recent away form in La Liga has been poor though, as a 2-1 defeat at Villarreal in their last away game was their fourth straight loss in La Liga on their travels. The visitors have also conceded at least two goals in their last four away games in La Liga.
