Despite their lowly position in the table, the team from Yorkshire have won their last two league matches against Fulham and last time out Middlesbrough, while keeping clean sheets in both games.
The fact that the Tykes have won just three of their last 11 league matches has led to the visitor’s position in the table. They also have the joint second worse defensive record in the Championship.
Barnsley have struggled for away results of late in the second tier, having won just two of their last 23 Championship matches on their travels. An impressive 3-0 win at Fulham in their last away game ended a four-game winless run on their travels.
