The Premier League action continues into Wednesday this week and we have a match between Leicester City and West Ham United to enjoy.

Leicester City come into this match sitting in 3rd place in the Premier League and could move level with Manchester City on points should they win the game. West Ham United are currently down in 16th place on 23 points and this leaves them just one point clear of Aston Villa who are in the relegation zone.

Leicester City opened the scoring in their match at Burnley on Sunday and went in at half time with the lead. Despite conceding an equaliser, the Foxes had a penalty to regain their advantage which was missed. This seemed to spur on the home team who went on to score the winning goal.

That result means Leicester City have failed to win any of their last 3 matches in all competitions. They were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Aston Villa in the League Cup semi-final first leg and have since lost at home against Southampton and away to Burnley in the Premier League.

Home form in the League shows Leicester have failed to win any of the last 3 games, with a draw against Norwich City followed by defeats against Liverpool and Southampton. Leicester City conceded 7 goals in those 3 games and despite scoring in all but one of their last 10 Premier League home matches they will be keen to keep a clean sheet.

West Ham United were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Everton on Saturday. The Hammers took the lead through Issa Diop but conceded the equaliser just before half time. That result means West Ham United have won only one of their last 5 Premier League matches, which came at home against Bournemouth. They are on a poor run of form which has seen them win only 3 of their last 16 Premier League games.

West Ham United have tasted defeat in 3 of their last 4 away league matches and in 5 of their last 7 on the road. In 5 of West Ham United's last 6 away games in all competitions, there have been under 2.5 goals scored but they conceded 2 or more goals in 5 the last 8 away Premier League games.

Looking ahead to the team news and Leicester City could bring Youri Tielemans and Ben Chilwell back into the starting XI. Wilfred Ndidi continues to miss out due to a knee injury.

West Ham United are definitely without Ryan Fredericks plus have doubts over the fitness of Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko, Felipe Anderson, Lukasz Fabianski and Michail Antonio.

This is a key game for both teams and those sides at the top and bottom of the table. Leicester City will see this as a great chance to get back to winning ways plus keep a clean sheet, which they will do if they perform at their best.
