Huddersfield and Blackburn seem to have very different aims this season in the Championship this season. The pair meet on Sunday afternoon at the John Smith’s Stadium, with both hoping to secure maximum points.
The home side is currently looking nervously over their shoulders at the relegation zone, as the Terriers are currently 20th place in the table, just four points clear of the dreaded drop zone.
A 1-0 defeat on boxing day against fellow strugglers Middlesbrough ended a promising three-game unbeaten run for Huddersfield. A record of just two wins in nine Championship games rather illustrates why Town are dangerously close to the drop zone.

The visitors are eight games unbeaten in the Championship. However, a 1-1 home draw against Birmingham on boxing day means that Tony Mowbray’s team have drawn three of their last four league matches.
Their recent league games have been tight, low-scoring affairs as Rovers last five games have all produced under 2.5 goals.
Blackburn will hope to stretch their unbeaten away run in the Championship to four games. Forebet predicts that Rovers will extend that run, but that this clash will end in a low-scoring draw.
