Bristol City to continue unbeaten home run against Millwall

Bristol City registered back-to-back wins in the Championship on Saturday with a 2-1 win away from home at fellow high-fliers, Fulham, which followed a previous 5-2 thumping of Huddersfield Town at Ashton Gate the weekend before.
These recent wins together with losing just 1 of their last 8 matches has helped lift The Robins up into 4th place in the Championship as Lee Johnson’s boys are becoming a hard unit to break down in recent times.
Only Championship league leaders, West Brom, have managed to get the better of the west country outfit recently as The Baggies recorded a heavy 4-1 win at the Hawthorns, but Bristol City have responded in positive fashion by recording back-to-back wins thereafter.

Bristol City have been extremely solid at home this season too as they’ve suffered just 1 defeat out of their 9 home matches to date and having won 3 of their last 5 matches with victories over Reading, Charlton Athletic and Huddersfield Town, The Robins will be confident they can bag the points on Tuesday night.
Onto Millwall, and the visitors gained a useful point in a 2-2 draw at home with Nottingham Forest on Friday night to extend their unbeaten run under manager, Gary Rowett, to 5 matches without defeat in the Championship.
This recent upturn in form has seen The Lions register wins against Charlton Athletic at The Den and away at Swansea City as well as picking up points in draws with Wigan Athletic, Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest.
Form at home at their Den has been Millwall’s strength so far in this season’s Championship campaign, but there’s still plenty of work to do to improve their fortunes on their travels as the London club have picked up just 1 away win out of their 10 away matches to date this term.
That win came in the shape of a 1-0 win at Swansea City, but defeats at Fulham, Blackburn Rovers, Brentford and Reading far outweigh their minimal success on the road, and with just 2 away wins out of their last 17 matches in the Championship, it’s fairly obvious to pinpoint Millwall’s shortcomings.
Bristol City at Ashton Gate are a tough prospect for any team, let alone this Millwall outfit who have struggled for results on the road.
