Sevilla have become Europa League royalty in recent years, winning the competition on five occasions in the last 13 years. The Andalusians have become synonymous with the competition.

Julen Lopetegui’s side has also made a bright start to their Europa League campaign this season by swatting away Qarabag 3-0 on matchday one.

The Andalusians will look to make it two wins out of two in the competition when they host APOEL at the Sanchez Pizjuan on Thursday night.

Sevilla are unbeaten in six Europa League games in 90 minutes, recording four victories in the process. However, last season the Spanish side suffered an extra-time last-16 defeat against Slavia Prague.

The Andalusian team have a formidable recent home record in the Europa League, as they are unbeaten in 20 outings. Sevilla have also won 17 of those home games.

They kicked off the group stages with a 3-4 home defeat against F91 Dudelange of Luxembourg.

The visitors have a poor recent away record in the Europa League, having failed to win in seven matches on their travels in this competition, suffering five defeats in the process.
