Can West Ham continue impressive run at Bournemouth?
2460

Two of the Premier League’s in-form teams meet on Saturday as Bournemouth face West Ham at the Vitality Stadium.

The Hammers are 5th in table having picked up 11 points from their first 6 matches, while Bournemouth sit one place below on 10 points.

Since losing to Manchester City on the opening day of the season, West Ham have recovered well and are unbeaten in 5 league games.

They have beaten Watford and Norwich and picked up a notable 2-0 win over Manchester United last time out.

Andriy Yarmolenko put the Hammers ahead just before half-time before Aaron Cresswell capped off the victory by whipping in a stunning free-kick 6 minutes from time.

West Ham’s impressive run has also seen the team keep three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League.

Bournemouth come into this match on a run of back-to-back league wins after beating Everton and Southampton 3-1.

Callum Wilson has scored 3 goals in his last 2 appearances and the England striker now has 4 top-flight goals to his name this term.

Remarkably, Wilson has only had 6 shots in the top-flight this season but has managed to hit the target with each one.

Despite Bournemouth’s free-flowing attacking play, Cherries manager Eddie Howe will be aware that his team has already shipped a lot of goals.

Bournemouth have failed to keep a clean sheet in the league this season and have conceded 3 goals on 2 occasions.

However, with the likes of Nathan Ake at the back, it shouldn’t be too long before the team picks up its first clean sheet of the campaign.

The Cherries still have a length injury list but summer signing Lloyd Kelly could feature in the Premier League for the first time this weekend.

As for West Ham, Arthur Musuaku is available for selection again following his suspension but may struggle get back into the team after fellow left-back Cresswell’s outstanding performance in the previous round.

There has only been 13 meetings between Bournemouth and West Ham over the years and the head-to-head record is fairly evenly balanced.

West Ham have 5 wins in this fixture, while Bournemouth have 4. The other 4 games have ended in a draw. With that being said, the Cherries are unbeaten in their last 5 meetings with the Hammers.

The two teams are currently very evenly matched, so we are likely to see another draw this time around.

Forebet predicts over 3.5 goals in the match with both teams sharing the points.
