Juventus to extend unbeaten Serie A start

Juventus are unbeaten in 34 of their last 38 matches in Serie A and they take that unbeaten run to the Stadio Mario Rigamonti against Brescia on Tuesday night.

Juventus are coming off of a weekend win over Hellas Verona, 2-1. Aaron Ramey and Cristiano Ronaldo scored on either side of halftime to give Juventus a come from behind victory.

Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus have been unconvincing in the early stages of the season. After blasting teams in Serie A under Massimiliano Allegri, Sarri’s team are now eking out victories in the league.

Juventus go into Tuesday night two points behind Inter Milan. They could go top of the table for at least 24 hours with a victory at Brescia.

Eugenio Corini’s Brescia are 10th in Serie A with six points from 12 possible. Brescia picked up a victory last weekend against Udinese away 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal from Romelu. The win ended a two-match losing streak.

Brescia have played just once at home this term. The match resulted in a 4-3 loss to Bologna. Corini’s team has scored five goals overall this term, but has also conceded five goals to opponents. Other than their seven-goal thriller against Bologna, Brescia’s other three matches have ended 1-0.

Juventus have seen two of their four matches end with over 2.5 goals scored. Both away games this term saw under 2.5 goals and both teams not scoring. The Bianconeri have been poor in front of goal on the road. They should do well away to the newly-promoted Brescia, however.

Brescia’s Alfredo Donnarumma has tallied three goals this season. He has secured 60% of the team’s scoring. Donnarumma bagged 25 goals in 32 Serie B games last season for the Biancazzurri. He will fancy his chances of scoring against Juventus.

It should be worrying for Sarri that his team managed just three shots of their 21 total on target against Hellas Verona. Injuries have played a part in Juventus’ slow start but they certainly have the squad to deal with issues.

Paulo Dybala started as the No. 9 against Hellas Verona but was removed later on for Gonzalo Higuain. Aaron Ramsey, who scored on his debut, was also removed in the second half. Gianluigi Buffon started as goalkeeper as Sarri rotated his squad.

It is a busy time of the season for Serie A’s team as league and cup games pile up before the October international break. Juventus may be struggling away from the Allianz Arena, but they will get a victory over Brescia.

Juventus should concede a goal once more as they find a way to defeat Brescia away. Expect both teams to score and over 2.5 goals to go into the back of the net.
