Norwich City travel to Burnley on Saturday on back of a memorable victory over reigning champions Manchester City.

The Canaries beat Man City 3-2 at Carrow Road thanks to goals from Kenny McLean, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki.

Norwich only registered three attempts on target while Manchester City had 25 shots – 8 of which hit the target.

What makes their victory even more remarkable is the fact that Man City finished the match with 69% of the ball possession.

This was Norwich’s second win of the season, and it lifted them to 13th in the table after losing their other three Premier League matches.

Burnley are one place behind Norwich in 14th after picking up just one win from their opening five league games.

The Clarets rescued a late draw against Brighton in the previous round thanks to a 91st minute winner from Jeff Hendrick.

Hendrick’s stunning long-range strike was his side’s only shot on target in the entire match, and Burnley only managed to record 37% of the ball possession against Brighton.

This match brings together two of the Premier League’s in-form strikers, as Teemu Pukki and Ashley Barnes look to add to their impressive goal tallies.

Pukki has scored 6 goals so far this season, while Barnes has scored 4 of 6 Burnley’s league goals.

Burnley will be without on-loan Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater this weekend after he recently sustained injuries from an off-field altercation.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has no other fresh injury worries, and is likely to name the same team that rescued a point for him at Brighton.

On the other hand, Norwich’s injury problems have gone from bad to worse after Max Aarons was injured playing for England Under-21s.

The Canaries have a lengthy injury list, and were astonishingly forced to name two goalkeepers on the substitute’s bench against Man City.

The two teams haven’t faced each other since an FA Cup tie back in 2012. Norwich picked up an impressive 4-1 win on that occasion.

However, Burnley have lost just two of their last ten matches against Norwich, and have scored more than one goal in seven of those games.

The Clarets will be desperate to bring Norwich back down to earth following their shock win against Man City.

Forebet predicts that the home side will claim all three points on Saturday, with a high chance of both teams to score.
