Odd to earn crucial victory over Molde

The Norwegian Eliteserien table is starting to take shape. Two teams who have started the campaign in strong form are Odd and Molde, who meet on Friday evening at the Skagerak Arena.
The visitors are currently top of the table, three points clear of second place FK Bodo/Glimt and four points clear of the third-place home side. However, Odd have two games in hand on the leaders. A win in this game could put them in a great position to challenge for the title.

Molde have finished as runners up in the Eliteserien for the past two seasons, but their promising start to the campaign has raised hopes that they could go one better this time around.
The leaders form heading into this clash has not been great, as they have won just three of their last six matches in the Norwegian top-flight. Last time out, Brann held the visitors to a 1-1 draw.
A trip to Odd at this stage of the campaign could be highly tricky. The fact that Molde have lost two of their last three away games will only add to the concern about the trip to Odd, who are so strong on home soil.
The visitors have been prolific on their travels of late, which could test the sturdy Odd backline, though.
