On Monday night, Ajax host Vitesse Arnhem at the Johan Cruyff Arena, as the home side attempt to record a crucial victory in the race for the Eredivisie title.

Fresh from their Champions League escapades, Erik ten Hag’s team will be looking to put some breathing space between themselves and second place PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch top-flight.

However, they have had a tendency to draw a lot of matches of late, as the visitors have now drawn five of their last seven matches in the Dutch top-flight.

Arnhem’s recent Eredivisie matches have been high-scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six outings in the Dutch top-flight. The visitors recent away record is not great in the Eredivisie, as they have recorded just one win from their last eight outings on their travels.
