Hoffenheim to keep European hopes alive

On Saturday, Hoffenheim host Koln at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena in the Bundesliga, as the home side look to keep their European hopes alive.
The home side are currently seventh-place, four points behind sixth-place and the last Europa League spot. Julian Nagelsmann’s team are unbeaten in four games in the Bundesliga, but their recent form has been inconsistent.
Last time out the home side drew 3-3 at Borussia Monchengladbach, which means Hoffenheim have now scored at least twice in their last three games in the German top-flight.

However, they have at least given themselves a chance of survival with slightly improved form of late in the German top-flight. They have now won two and lost two of their last four games in the Bundesliga, last time out recording a surprise 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
The visitors have been surprisingly prolific of late in the Bundesliga, scoring at least two goals in five of their last seven outings in the German top-flight.
One of the factors contributing to Koln’s poor campaign has been their away form, as they have won just two of their last 20 games on their travels in the Bundesliga.
