Two sides looking to swiftly move on from troubling results last weekend will clash in the Premier League, so Forebet is back to check out the trends, data, mathematics and probability of winning in the game between Nottingham Forest and West Ham United.

Our football predictions for this Premier League match looks at over or under 2.5 goals, and it takes a big look at the data after West Ham’s stunning 6-0 loss at the London Stadium to Arsenal, despite beating them 2-0 back at the Emirates.

Brutally for West Ham, their former captain Declan Rice was amongst the goals that day, and since the 2-0 win over Arsenal, the Hammers have now gone on to also draw with Brighton & Hove Albion and Bristol City before losing to the latter in an FA Cup replay.

Sheffield United have also achieved a draw with David Moyes’ men in the past month, while Bournemouth drew with them 1-1 at the London Stadium too.

Two weeks ago, Manchester United handed West Ham their seventh Premier League defeat before the eighth last weekend against Arsenal.

As for Forest, they also lost to a team they beat away from home at the end of December, Newcastle United.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men lost 3-2 at home to Newcastle last time out to now put them within just two points of the bottom three.

It now also means 13 losses in the league for Forest and only five wins.

Forest’s injuries have eased up in the past few weeks, but Chris Wood is set to be a huge miss after his goalscoring form, and he is now sidelined for a few weeks because of a hamstring injury.

Gonzalo Montiel is also out, but Willy Boly, Ibrahim Sangare and Ola Aina have all returned after AFCON duty.

West Ham will maybe see Michail Antonio come back to action here after his injury, although he currently lacks match fitness.

Lucas Paqueta is still a big miss for West Ham and he won’t feature in this game and his services are beginning to seriously attack Moyes’ career at the London Stadium.

This game ended in a thrilling 3-2 win for the Hammers back at the London Stadium, as Paqueta played that day and bagged after three minutes.

Taiwo Awoniyi brought one back before Athony Elanga handed Forest the lead. West Ham eventually stole the points with a finish from Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek.

Forebet predicts a win for West Ham and over 2.5 goals.
