Crystal Palace and Chelsea meet on Monday night in the Premier League and Forebet is here to put together all the latest trends, data and analysis for the football predictions across England’s top flight.

Both teams come into this game in terrible form and with both managers hanging by a thread at the helm of their respective clubs.

Mauricio Pochettino was dealt yet another home defeat last time out to Wolverhampton Wanderers, and it now means the Blues have suffered 10 defeats in the league already and won only nine games.

Cole Palmer got yet another goal that day to hand Chelsea the lead, but four goals including an Axel Disasi own goal means Chelsea remain down in 11th in what is turning out to be one of their worst-ever Premier League campaigns.

Pochettino's side did get back to winning ways last time out, however, as a 3-1 win away to Aston Villa at Villa Park means Chelsea are into the next round of the FA Cup.

In fact, with an EFL Cup final to look forward to with Liverpool, Pochettino can at least hang his head high in the cup competitions.

Conor Gallagher got the ball rolling for the Blues in the win at Villa Park, as Nicholas Jackson scored before a stunning free kick from Enzo Fernandez.

Form in the league is still awful, however, with only one Premier League victory in 2024 over west London rivals Fulham after a 4-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield that saw Christopher Nkunku get another goal.

Chelsea do, however, have a goal over Palace this season at Stamford Bridge. Mykhalio Mudryk scored in the first half that day, before Michael Olise equalised. Noni Madueke scored the winning goal from the penalty spot late on in the match.

Palace can now move into just four points of Chelsea if they can secure a win at Selhurst Park.

Palace were beaten again last time out, however, as Brighton & Hove Albion cruised to a 4-1 win - Jean-Phillippe Mateta was back amongst the goals that afternoon.

This was the 11th loss of the season for Palace, and with only six wins on the board, they are just five points above relegation.

What's more, another loss could spell the end of Roy Hodgson at the helm for Palace, as his side still have only 26 goals on the board - no side outside of the relegation zone has fewer.

Forebet predicts a win for Chelsea and over 2.5 goals.
