The second round of the KNVB Cup is upon us this Wednesday with PSV Eindhoven playing hosts to Twente as the unrivalled league leaders in the Eredivisie look to keep up their hopes of a league and cup double.

PSV - although not playing in one of Europe's top five leagues - have unquestionably been the in-form team across Europe this season.

The club have so far won every single one of their games in the Dutch top flight, tallying up a record of 17 wins from the same amount of games.

In fact, what is even more incredible is the fact they have managed to let in just seven goals during this period and scored a stunning tally of 59 - no side has a better defensive or attacking record this campaign.

The only negatives on PSV's record this season has been their one loss in the Champions League away to Arsenal, although they still managed to finish one point ahead of Lens in Group B and head into the knockout rounds amongst Europe's elite.

The Eredivisie leaders will now meet with Borussia Dortmund in late February for their two-legged Champions League affair.

Now, however, they do have to beat one of the teams that sits relatively close to them in the Dutch league, Twente.

Twente are sitting third in the league right now and above Ajax in fifth by nine points. The club are still, however, adrift of the unstoppable PSV by 14 points, but in reality, no side is going to catch them.

One of Twente's two defeats in the league this season has come at the hands of PSV, as Joey Veerman scored in the first half before Robin Propper tapped in an own goal, just as Johan Bakayoko scored late on in the game. Mees Hilgers was also sent off that day.

Since then, on the other hand, Twente have gone on to put together an unbeaten record by defeating Go Ahead Eagles 3-1, Excelsior 4-2 and Eldense 1-0 alongside 2-2 draws with Sparta Rotterdam and a friendly draw with German side, Vfl Osnabruck. Last time out, Joseph Oosting's side defeated AZ Alkmaar 2-1.

PSV's winning run has only been halted in the past two months by Arsenal, as the Gunners claimed a point in the Netherlands for the final Champions League game of the season.

Since then, a 3-1 win over Excelsior has come in, alongside a 4-0 battering away to Aklmaar and a 1-1 draw with Heracles.

Forebet predicts a win here for PSV and over 2.5 goals.
