Galatasaray are aiming to get back to the top of the Super Lig this Thursday with the club sitting behind Fenerbahce on goals difference and are now set to head to the Euyul Stadium to meet with Sivasspor.
Galatasaray are only adrift of the league leaders by goals difference right now, despite them having one of the best defensive records across all of Europe.
The reigning champions of Turkey have conceded only nine goals so far this season and come into this game with 35 goals scored - Fenerbahce have scored 49, however.
The club have also suffered only one loss so far in the league season and have also managed to draw with Fenerbahce in their own backyard back on Christmas Eve.
The sole loss saw them lose to Hatayspor back in November where Wilfried Zaha scored in the first half.
On the continental front, Galatasaray have moved into the Europa League after finishing third in Group A with one victory on the board.
They managed to win that sole game with a 3-2 famous victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Last time out, Galatasaray defeated Konyaspor 3-0 with 30 shots throughout the game and 10 of those hitting the target.
Abdulkerim Bardakci netted twice that day, including a 93rd-minute winner, as Zaha netted another goal that day - the former Crystal Palace star now has six Super Lig goals from 14 matches.
As for Sivasspor, they are slumped into 10th right now and above the bottom four by only six points with them drawing six times, losing six times and winning the six other games. The club have let in 28 goals and scored 23 times as well.
Last time out, Sivasspor managed to edge Kayerispor in stunning fashion Rey Manaj managed to score a goal in the 93rd-minute to give them the lead from the spot before scoring again five minutes later to make the game 3-1.
Sivasspor also defeated Istanbulspor before that with another finish from Manaj. It now puts them on a two-game winning run and with only one defeat in the past month, as Istanbul Basaksehir managed to beat them in the capital 3-2.
Other victories have seen them get into the fourth round of the Turkish Cup by beating Arnavutkoy Belediyespor alongside a win over Konyaspor back in the league.
Forebet predicts a victory for Galatasaray and under 2.5 goals.
