Will Fulham halt four-game winless run when Wolves visit the Cottage?

The final Premier League clash of Matchday 13 sees Wolverhampton Wanderers travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham on Monday night.

The two sides are separated by three points in the Premier League table, with 15th-placed Fulham trailing 12th-placed Wolves.

Not only are the Cottagers looking to move level on points with the Wanderers, but they are also looking for their first victory in this fixture since 2018.

Let’s start by taking a closer look at the hosts, Fulham, who suffered a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa prior to the international break.

As a result, Marco Silva’s side head into Monday’s clash on a four-game winless run in the league, having recorded one draw and three losses since their last victory.

To make matters worse for the Cottagers, they have managed to win just three of their 12 Premier League matches this season, recording three draws and six defeats.

It is also worth noting that only bottom club Burnley have scored fewer Premier League goals than Fulham’s 10 this term.

Wolves, meanwhile, came from behind to snatch a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur last time out, scoring twice in second-half injury time to send Molineux into a frenzy.

That result means that Gary O’Neil’s men have lost just one of their previous seven league outings, picking up three wins and three draws in the process.

It is worth noting, however, that Wolves have struggled on the road in recent times, winning only four of their last 28 away games across all competitions.

That said, the Wanderers have avoided defeat in three of their previous five away league outings, winning at Everton and Bournemouth.

Head-to-head: Wolves are unbeaten in their last six Premier League meetings with Fulham, having picked up three wins and three draws.

In terms of the wider head-to-head record, the Cottagers have only managed to win three of their past 24 matches against Wolves across all competitions.

Team news: Fulham are currently without key midfielder Joao Palhinha due to suspension, while Issa Diop, Rodrigo Muniz and Tosin Adarabioyo are injured.

As for Wolves, centre-back Craig Dawson is missing through suspension, with Joseph Hodge, Pedro Neto and Nelson Semedo on the treatment table.

When you couple Fulham’s poor recent form with Wolves’ outstanding record in this fixture, all the signs point towards an away win on Monday night.

Given that Fulham have struggled for goals of late, Forebet predicts that Wolves will secure a clean-sheet victory at Craven Cottage.
