Will Everton Continue Their Winless Run Away to Brentford
3217

Everton are back on the road as they head to London in search of their first win of the Premier League season in what has been another terrible beginning to the new campaign ahead of a meeting with Brentford.

The Toffees are down in the relegation zone once again with just two goals on the board making them the worst goalscoring side in the league.

Worse yet, two of those games came against Sheffield United in a recent draw, meaning all their points and all their goals came in one Premier League game.

The only other victory for Everton this season has seen them beat Doncaster Rovers in the EFL Cup first round, and even then, Sean Dyche needed goals from Beto and Arnaut Danjuma to win the match in the end in a comeback victory.

Everton were beaten by Arsenal in their last match at Goodison Park, meaning two losses in a row at home after also suffering a 1-0 loss at Goodison Park to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Other losses for Everton this season have seen them lose by another 1-0 scoreline at home before a 4-0 beating from Aston Villa on the road.

Brentford head into this game with just one win and one loss too, as the Bees were beaten by Newcastle United in their previous game that followed a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

After also drawing with Crystal Palace and Newport County in 90 minutes before a penalty shootout win, it now means four games without a win for Brentford.

Brentford are heading into this one with an array of injuries and suspensions to deal with, as Ivan Toney remains out until January.

Joshua Dasilva is also out of action until around November, while Shandon Baptiste is set to feature at some stage across the next two weeks.

Ben Mee and Kristoffer Ajer are both set to face late fitness tests alongside Mikkel Damsgaard, but Rico Henry is set to miss the rest of the season with his ACL injury that got diagnosed last week.

As for Everton, Dele Alli is still not ready to play here it seems, as Sean Dyche waits on his return that is set to come in a few weeks.

Seamus Coleman and Jack Harrison are also out of action in this one, but the latter is nearing a return and could feature before the end of September. Andre Gomes is also out of action in this match.

Forebet predicts a win for Brentford and over 2.5 goals.
