It's the final set of fixtures for the Europa League playoffs this Thursday evening as the likes of Sheriff Tiraspol play hosts to Klaksvíkar at the Sheriff Sports Complex with this game poised at 1-1 after the first leg back in the Faroe Islands.
Neither side was able to take the upperhand in the first leg up in the Faroe Islands, as the home side largely struggled to put their marker down on this Europa League tie in order to get back amongst Europe’s elite.

This campaign, Sheriff have beaten Spartanii 2-0 and Petrocub 1-0 after also defeating Dacia-2 Buiucani in a fantastic 5-0 battering that saw five different goalscorers get in on the act, including Luvannor Henrique de Sousa Silva, who continues to impress with the club.
He also scored the winner against Petrocub, while Amine Talal and Vinicius Paiva bagged against Spartanii.
However, Sheriff do head into this tie after their first loss of the season that saw Milsami beat them 2-0 at their own ground, which came just three days after the 1-1 draw against KI.
Elsewhere in Europe this season, the Tiraspol side defeated BATE Borisov 7-3 on aggregate in the third qualifying round after a 5-1 win at home before their 2-2 draw in the away leg.
Sheriff did lose in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round, however, as Maccabi Haifa beat them 4-1 in Israel after a 1-0 win for Sheriff at home.
As for KI, they lost 3-2 to Molde in their Champions League third qualifying round after a 2-0 defeat in Sweden and a 1-1 draw at home in the Faroe Islands.
On the domestic front, KI are sitting top of the table with just one draw and one loss from 19 games and a stunning record of 13 goals let in and 49 scored of their own.
