Everton Should Edge Past Wolves in a Low-Scoring Affair

Everton are at Goodison Park this weekend with Wolverhampton Wanderers up next for the club as two sides expected to fight relegation go head-to-head after terrible winless starts that see them both let in five goals already.
The Toffees were battered 4-0 by Aston Villa in their match last time out, and after losing to Fulham 1-0 at home on opening weekend, them and Burnley are the only team yet to score this season.
Wolves have at least got a goal this campaign and even through they were defeated 1-0 at Old Trafford, they were much the better team than Manchester United and should have at least scored.
Nevertheless, a 4-1 battering from Brighton & Hove Albion leaves them in tatters once again, as Hwang Hee-chan got Wolves' only goal that day. They were, however, already 4-0 down by that point.
Everton continued to be haunted by injuries, just as they have done so for the past few seasons.
This once again applies to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is set to be out for a number of weeks once again with a facial injury.
Jack Harrison's debut for the club will have to wait, as he is back training but is still not fit to play until after the international break.
The same applies to Alex Iwobi, but Andre Gomes and Youssef Chermiti are much closer to return and will face late fitness tests before this game.
Dwight McNeil is also out of action for this one once again, while Dele Alli is not ready to make his long-awaited Everton return just yet.
Seamus Coleman is also not expected back in until closer to November after a huge setback last season.
Wolves usually deal with a lot of injuries too, but they are all clear on the injury front heading into this one and will only be without Matheus Nunes for this game after his two yellow cards in the loss to Brighton mean he is suspended for one match.
Nunes may have already also played his last game for the club, as Manchester City are reportedly set to table another bid for the midfielder.
These two teams seriously lack an offensive star and with Raul Jimenez departing Wolves and Calvert-Lewin injured, the dreadful attacking displays for the two are only set to get even worse and alarm fans even more.
With this said, Forebet predicts the game to see under 2.5 goals and Everton to win.
