Fulham will host Brentford in a West London Derby on Saturday in the Premier League’s early kickoff.

The derby rivals played two scintillating matches last season, splitting the matches, with one win apiece.

Brentford posted a 3-2 win at the GTech Community Stadium in the team’s first encounter.

Fulham returned the favour with a 3-2 victory at Craven Cottage in the reverse fixture.

Fulham picked up three points on Premier League opening day thanks to a 1-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid scored the game’s only goal, as Fulham’s defence played well on the road.

Brentford started the season without the suspended Ivan Toney. He will serve a suspension until January.

The Bees still scored goals on opening day, drawing 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur. Manager Thomas Frank will be annoyed that the team conceded after going ahead 2-1.

Forward Yoanne Wissa scored the team’s opener before Bryan Mbeumo stepped up to the penalty spot to score the second goal.

Wissa and Mbeumo started in a two-man attack and made the most of their opportunities with Toney suspended.

Along with Toney, Frank may be without midfielder Frank Onyeka due to a thigh injury.

Defender Ben Mee could also miss the game. He has a calf problem. Mathias Jensen is a doubt following a thigh muscle problem.

Fulham manager Marco Silva is still trying to sign players before the transfer window closes.

He is also hoping to hold onto star players Aleksandar Mitrovic and Joao Palhinha.

The former is being tipped with a move to Saudi Arabia and the latter is linked with a move to Liverpool.

Palhinha is the only player currently set to miss the match for Fulham. The defensive midfielder has a shoulder injury.

Fulham signed winger Adama Traore after their opening-day win. Traore was a free agent after his contract with Wolverhampton ended.

Traore could start the match. Rumours have linked Fulham left-wing Willian with a move to Saudi.

Frank used a five-man backline against Tottenham. He could alter the side against Fulham due to the attacking threat from the Cottagers being different.

Wing-backs Rico Henry and Aaron Hickey provided width to the Brentford attack against Spurs, making the team dangerous on the counter.

Fulham and Brentford’s last three meetings in all competitions ended with both teams scoring goals.

Saturday’s early kick-off should be another competitive fixture between the local rivals. Both teams should find the back of the net in a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.
