Future FC to claim customary victory over National Bank

National Bank welcome Future FC to the Cairo International Stadium on Friday as the final matchday of the Egyptian Premier League gets underway.

Ahead of the final round of fixtures, National Bank occupy 14th place in the 18-team table – three points clear of the relegation zone.

At the opposite end of the standings, Future FC find themselves fourth – 22 points above National Bank – meaning they have already qualified for the Confederation Cup.

National Bank have managed to win just eight of their 33 Premier League clashes this season, recording 12 draws and 13 losses along the way.

The hosts enjoyed an eight-game unbeaten streak in the league between April and June, notching five wins and three draws in the process.

However, they head into Friday’s showdown on a three-match winless run after recording two draws and one defeat.

Having failed to score in each of their previous three outings, National Bank must improve offensively if they are to get anything from their final game of the campaign.

As for Future FC, they have lost just five of their 33 Premier League matches this term, securing 15 wins and 13 draws for good measure.

That said, Future have only managed to win one of their previous five encounters, recording one draw and three defeats while conceding six goals.

It is worth remembering that Future kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 15-game unbeaten streak, clinching eight wins and seven draws along the way.

However, they have struggled for consistency since then, recording seven wins, six draws and five losses since the end of their unbeaten run.

Head-to-head: In the reverse fixture back in February, Future claimed a 3-0 home victory over National Bank.

When you look at the bigger picture, Future have won each of their three previous meetings with National Bank, scoring nine goals while keeping two clean sheets.

Team news: National Bank’s star man is winger Karim Bambo, who has chalked up eight goals and three assists in the league this season.

On the flip side, Future striker Marwan Mohsen has bagged six goals and four assists in the league this term, although the veteran is an injury doubt for Friday’s clash.

When you couple the 22-point gulf between these two sides with Future’s strong record against National Bank, all the signs point towards on away win here.

Forebet predicts that both teams will score on Friday. However, Future should have enough quality to outscore National Bank.
