On Saturday night, Rakow Czestochowa and Legia Warsawa clash at the Stadion Rakow in the Polish Super Cup.

Legia qualified for the Super Cup by beating Saturday’s opponents in the Polish Cup final in a penalty shootout to claim the trophy for the 30th time in their history.

Unlike their opponents, Legia have a long history of featuring in the Polish Super Cup. However, unlike Rakow, they have struggled to lift the trophy, as the team from the capital has failed to win in their previous eight appearances in the Super Cup.

They have suffered four defeats over 90 minutes and four penalty shootout defeats.
