Santos Likely to Fall to Another Defeat by Losing to Flamengo

Flamengo are aiming to get their title quest back on track this weekend when they head to the Urbano Caldeira Stadium to meet with a Santos side struggling for any sort of form this season with the club outside of all the continental spots right now.
Santos have secured just three wins from the 11 games this campaign so far and it is turning out to be one of their worst starts to a season in recent times.
Worst yet, they've failed to score a goal in the past two games with the club falling to a defeat against Corinthians during the week after drawing with Coritiba before that. Guilherme Camacho was also sent off that day against Coritiba.
Santos were also beaten by Newell's Old Boys in the Copa Sudamericana before these results with a goal in the 98th minute of the game winning it for the Argentine Primera Division side, as Marcos Leonardo scored a penalty.

In fact, you have to go all the way back to early May to see the last time Santos won a game after defeating Vasco da Gama in the Brazilian Serie A thanks to a goal from Deivid Washington - this was the only shot on target they had that day.
Since then, the club have lost their Copa do Brasil two-legged affair with Bahia after scoring just one goal across the two games and losing the game on penalties in the end.
Alongside these results, Santos have drawn with Palmeiras, lost to Audax Italiano in the Copa Sudamericana and lost to Bragantino in the league too.
It keeps them down in 13th and with a lot of work to do to get back into the continental spots of Serie A.
As for Flamengo, they sit fourth in the league with six wins so far and the second most goals scored (21), as only Palmeiras in second have netted more.
They do remain eight points behind the league leaders Botafogo, and the club was hammered 4-0 by Bragantino in midweek.
Flamengo won before that, however, as the club defeated Gremio 3-0. Forebet now predicts a victory for Flamengo and for the game to see over 2.5 goals.
